Shoulders

We test how far the shoulder moves, its strength, and how the shoulder blade moves with it. Care can include soft tissue work, taping and exercises for the muscles that hold the joint.

Knees

We watch you squat, step and hop, then check the hip and ankle as well as the knee. Many knee plans build hip and thigh strength.

When it needs imaging

A joint that locks or gives way, a sudden pop with fast swelling, or a shoulder you cannot lift needs imaging or an orthopedic surgeon. We refer you and send our notes.

Questions about shoulder and knee strains

Can you tape my knee or shoulder?

Yes, when taping is part of your plan. Book the visit a day or two before an event so you can test the tape in practice first.
